Meet Ingrid — Founder, Curator, and Creative Voice Behind du Soleil

Hello, I’m Ingrid Johnson — a lifelong lover of elegant living, meaningful spaces, timeless style, and the small details that make life feel beautifully considered. After years leading complex programs in corporate America and collaborating within the world of precision-science startups, I found myself continually pulled back to the places, textures, colors, and objects that tell a story.

du Soleil was created as a home for that passion — a blend of interiors, lifestyle inspiration, personal point of view, and the pursuit of beauty that feels lived-in, thoughtful, and lasting, not trendy or disposable. My approach is shaped by three beliefs:

1.Beauty should feel effortless, not intimidating

2.Great design is not just seen — it is felt

3.A well-styled life is not about perfection, but intention

From Palm Beach breezes to classic coastal hues, from dinner-party dressing to travel-inspired touches, I gravitate toward spaces and pieces that feel fresh, sunlit, and quietly luxurious. I love mixing heritage patterns with modern silhouettes, chic neutrals with soft coastal blues, and sentimental storytelling with elevated simplicity.Through du Soleil, I share what I’m learning, discovering, and loving — curated finds, design boards, style notes, inspired living, and the occasional honest conversation about what it means to rewrite life with grace, humor, and resilience. This is a space for beauty, comfort, perspective, and joy.

Welcome — xx, Ingrid

But even the most serene palette benef

Design Story: The Aqua Room

A study in sunlit serenity -- soft aqua, natural textures, and a room that breathes Aqua & White: A Room That Feels Like a Breath of Sea Air There’s something timeless about a room washed in shades of aqua. It feels fresh, calm, and impossibly inviting — the kind of space that instantly softens your shoulders the moment you step inside. For this Aqua & White mood board, I wanted to capture that feeling of island air drifting through open windows, balanced with crisp white and
